Our Department's Strategic Plan

Our university's "2024-2028 Strategic Plan" has been published. This plan includes goals in many areas such as education, research, social contribution, internationalization, and sustainability. Our department is directly aligned with this strategic framework and undertakes the following contributions:

Areas of Contribution

Under the heading of education, the inclusion of goals such as "quality engineering education, application-oriented learning, and industry collaboration" plays a guiding role for our department.
Under the heading of research and technology production, our departments are expected to contribute to goals such as "producing applied engineering solutions" and "developing industry-university collaborations."
In terms of social participation and sustainability, our department can stand out in areas such as environmentally friendly design, innovative design, and integration with local industry in the field of industrial design engineering.
In terms of internationalization and quality management, our department's participation in national/international accreditation processes and increasing student and faculty exchanges are in line with these goals.

Our Department's Strategic Objectives

Objective 1: To fully align our department's educational programs with the quality and innovative teaching goals outlined in the university's strategic plan.
Objective 2: To contribute to the university's strategic plan's goal of "increasing research and development capacity" by strengthening the department's research-oriented infrastructure.
Objective 3: To increase interaction with industry and societal stakeholders and to conduct projects and collaborations that can respond to the needs of the region/country.
Objective 4: To position the department as a leader in line with the university's strategic goals by activating internationalization, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
Objective 5: To contribute to the university's social responsibility goals by integrating sustainability and environmental awareness into education, research, and project activities.
